This company used to have excellent customer service but something has happened recently. When I returned to the house after a long absence our generator was not working. I was quite surprised as we have a yearly service contract. When I phoned to report the problem I was told that we did not have a yearly contract. Once they reinstated the contract Northside scheduled a technician to come to service the generator in 2 days. Once again, away from the property I phoned to see if the work had been completed. I was told they would call me when they spoke with the technician - I had given them my cell as I knew I would not be at the house phone. Apparently they tried to call the house but not my cell. I called again the next day and was put on hold forever. Once again, I called to find the technician did not perform the service. I was told they would service the unit in a week. Thus, after numerous calls my generator will be serviced almost 2 weeks from the date I initially put in the request . MAYBE??? This is an emergency generator which has not been working had there been an emergency.
Great company! One of the select few Cummins dealers in Arkansas, they do a fantastic job. If you're looking for a great standby generator to be installed and serviced completely, I would highly recommend Northside Power!
They don't return phone calls, and you only ever get to talk to their answering service, make multiple calls over a 3 day period, I guess they are busy enough they don't need my money.
