New to the city, hated to leave my old veterinarian, but traveling that far just isn’t convenient. At first, the staff seemed nice and very friendly. We saw Dr Allen, and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and genuine in concern and bed side manner was awesome. I had a question after I left and called the office back to have them answer my question and add something to my pet’s charts. The woman who took my call became immediately defensive and took the conversation into a very dark and unprofessional place. She even took unnecessary jabs at my pet’s precious owner and trainer. I asked to speak to the doctor or owner, whoever was available. After holding for 7 minutes, the same lady came back on the phone and advised me that she spoke directly to doctor Allen and will add the information to my pet’s medical folder. She asked if I would be needing anything else, or would I just be taking my pet to it’s previous owner since she knows so much. I was shocked to say the least. That was also right after cutting them a check for $200.00. Needless to say, some great quarterbacks never get their career off the ground because of a weak front offensive line, and Dr Allen will have a difficult time attaining the much due respect and recognition that she’s worthy of, as long as she has a weak staff that throws trash at the paying customers. I immediately called another clinic, and asked them to transfer my pet’s records over to their facility and will not be back. I’m in a position at my employer where I speak to several customers who work and live in this same area, and I will pass on my experience with the woman who was rude and there will most likely be some people who consider my opinion valid and go elsewhere. Sorry Dr Allen, we thought you were awesome. Unfortunately we would have to deal with less than desirable people before seeing her.
Dr. Bradford, Dr. Spivey, and Dr. Barker are wonderful doctors and their staff is amazing, too! I have used Saline County Animal Clinic for over 15 years, and I feel they have treated all my animals as if they were their own pets. I highly recommend!!!
