My wife and I arrived in Little Rock on the evening of Wednesday Oct 11, 2017 pulling a 39' 5th wheel. The following morning we woke up to an extremely low right rear tire on our 2000 Ford F250. Since we have Firestone Transformer AT tires on it I looked up the nearest Firestone dealer. We were able to air the tire up and make it to this dealer. I told them about the tire being low earlier and asked them to check it out. Since we could not leave the vehicle there and come back later they worked us into the schedule asap. The service tech removed the tire and wheel from the vehicle and attempted to use soapy water to find the leak but was unable. Then he took the tire and wheel to their water tub and submerged it but still could not find a leak. At that point he complete broke down the tire/wheel assembly and took the tire off the wheel. Although there was a patch on the inside of the tire there was still no indication where the leak could be. He explained to me that since he could not find a leak he would go ahead and
Reading posts, I see that people are mad about the wait. This staff is WORTH THE WAIT. They are ALWAYS BUSY because they are awesome. I call and schedule my time, and drop my car off. I trust them with each of my kids taking their cars there and not getting the run around.
They were so nice to me at Firestone. When I went in they told me that is was going to be over an hour and a half wait to two hour wait. But then one of the guys overheard him say that and he said that it would be even longer then that. I guess he could see my expression on my face and told me if I could give him 10 min he would go look at my car. He had the thing replaced in about 25 min. I am sooo appreciative because I was stressing about getting my daughter to the doctor who is sick and had to stay home from school.
I have gone here mutiple times for three different cars and I officially give up on firestone. I always chose them because it was quick and easy. They’re over priced. Take their time fixing your vehicle and then don’t do it properly. They left an actual jug of oil inside the hood of my car by the engine. Then they had my car towed away because it had been there too long even though I spoke to one of the employees two weeks ago about it who never mentioned it. I never knew about their rule. I never got a call. Do not go to this place.
Well, I'm not sure yet! Dropped my car off because we think it needs a starter. They were getting ready to close for the day (it is Sunday). I will know more tomorrow. But I'm hopeful they will get it fixed by 1 of their master machanics and get me back on the road! They are very friendly and informative so far...
